    Question How to bathe/tips??

Ok so tomorrow or Tuesday i plan on giving my ball python a bath, and i just wanted some tips like things to watch put for when bathing, if theres any thing i can use like (soap products) how long should i let her swim around until i take her out and dry her off.And any other suggestions. Thanks guys hopefully this thread can help many more people than just me.

    Ps

I know the basics like the water temp and not to just through her in there straight away to let her kind of slither off into the water.and the water depth should be about a inch or a lil more.

I give my big bp's baths in the tub. If you have a baby ball go out and get a 6Qt tub and bath her in that.

As of cleaning products, I dont think they are necessary and I dont think there is any out there. I might be wrong though.

    Re: How to bathe/tips??

    Hi,

Well if they are in shed it might cause problems but mainly it just isn't necessary.

I only ever bathe or wash mine if they have just laid eggs - though I could see wanting to clean them a bit if they were covered in poop.

Yep no reason really to have to bathe your ball python. Like Dr Del said there are only a few reason for doing so, to clean waste material, in cases if sickness, constipation, shedding issues, etc..
