I'm a huge fan of Ball Pythons and Rosy Boas. I've obviously seen all the Ball python Owners, but what about the Rosies?
In my Rosy Boa collection I have:
2010 San Felipe:: male
2009 Mexican:: unknown sex
2010 Anery Coastal:: Female (waiting on warmer weather for shipping)
I love these animals and couldn't be happier with each of them. they are all great to handle and have perfect temperments! If you have a Rosy, post and say hi!

I don't have any Rosy's, but I do like that one with the black stripes...
Thanks, that is the Mexican Rosy I rescued from a petshop. I was only into Ball Pythons, but saw her and thought I could take better care of her (or him, I don't really know). Now I've got 3 Rosies!

I have a female Catavina Locality Rosy that I named Athena. She used to be the sweetest thing, but has since come down with quite the attitude and tries to bite me once in a blue moon. Anyway, here are a few pics of her.
Wow your Catavina looks awesome and has really orange eyes! Approx how old is she? As for the attitude, my Mexican and San Felipe haven't ever tried to bite, and the Anery bit me non-stop right after taking her out of the shipping container. She bit at least 10 times, but has since not tried to bite at all. I was surprised though how much bigger she is then the other two. She is double the size of the San Felipe (orange one) and is the same age, down to the month (Aug 2010).

I got my Rosy from one of my regulars where I tend bar. It was the last remaining thing of his late-girlfriend and it was a constant reminder of his loss. So now I have her, and she's great.
she loves using my bandana as a mobile hide

I didn't really want rosy boas at first, but my wife talked me into picking this guy up. He's awesome. I fell in love with rosy boas after this guy. He's a complete sweetheart, never bites, awesome to let him crawl around while you're watching TV or whatever - Totally cool. Got him around 4 years ago.
This next one I bought as female hypo borrego - i think they got the locality info wrong cause I'm 99.9% sure she crawled straight out of hell - so mean! Polar opposite of my male. She bites and latches...not ashamed to admit I use a hook for her. These shots are from back when I got her over a year ago. She's bigger now, and still mean! but very pretty
Thanks for sharing, they all look amazing and well cared for!
The Rosy Boa is easy to like. They are great pets and have a great personality (a few here and there can be mean as stated above!). I wish I could get another, I like the chocolate color of the Harquahala Mountain Rosy Boa and the cream color of the Cabo Rosy Boa. But I've already got 5 snakes, 2 Ball Pythons, which is already a lot for me.
Here are 2 pics of the new Anery femal. She has a great Blueberry color:
For you other owners, what type of substrate are you using? Are you using tubs or terrariums? Any advice you can give other Rosy Boa owners?

I've got a female white water rosy, she's been awesome. We keep her in a 10 gallon glass aquarium on aspen bedding with UTH and a dimmed basking lamp. I'll have to get some pictures up when I can.
