Can my snake eat this rat?

Hey, I got an extra rat from the store by accident. I had to keep the little guy a few days longer than expected. I fed him some unsalted crackers and stawberries and cucumbers lol. Just want to make sure its okay to feed him to my snake. I didn't want the poor little guy to starve while I held onto him.

Re: Can my snake eat this rat?

I don't quite understand the question. Are you worried that the rat may be too big to feed? Or are you worried that because you kept it for a few days and fed to crackers and fruit that it might not be safe to eat? Or....?

So long as you haven't fed it anything poisonous, it will be fine to feed off when you're ready. (ie: Don't use rat poison to euthanize it for feeding purposes)

If you're worried about its size...you'd have to give us more information to help determine that. Size of the snake and size of the rat...pics would be most helpful.

If there's some other concern prompting your question, I was unable to discern it.

Re: Can my snake eat this rat?

Hey, sorry. I didnt quite word that properly. I was asking if the rat is safe for the snake, after eating said foods. Thanks for the reply. After a bit of googling, I got my answer.
