    BEL complex price tags...

Would a BEL (Mohave/Lesser) be more expensive then a BEL (Lesser/Lesser or Mojave/Mojave)?

Also, could you get a BEL (black or blue) by breeding a lesser/fire?

I have a Kingpin, but I am looking to get either another lesser, a mojave or a fire. ( I already have the fire gene but he is male).

Nevermind about the fire/lesser. Found one on World of Ball Pythons and it is not a BEL. See, google does work... still would like to know about the mojave/lesser though.

From what I've read, people tend to not do as many super lessers as they can have defects with the eyes. the most BEL I see are usually Mojave/Lesser or Super Mojaves (purple heads). Fire/Lesser create Nuclear I believe http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/fire-lesser/

Like goddessbaby said, many people avoid the Super Lesser or Supper Butter because of the bug eye issue. I prefer to control my genes, so I like to go with a super version of one gene (I have Super Mystics and a Super Mojave). You should use a Mojave or a Mystic/Phantom in my opinion because both of those are affordable and can make clean combinations with Lesser.

We bred Lesser x Lesser because I just asked a couple breeders about it and they said go for it - Didn't warn me about bug eyes and I didn't do research, I just knew it produced BEL's. Luckily the one BEL we got from the pairing has normal eyes, and she sold for $500.

Super lesser would sell for more than a Mojave lesser as lesser tends to sell for more than Mojave. Bug eye might lower the price to some. I made a bel with normal eyes, he is one of my breeders now.

Mojave/Mojave tends to give a greyish tint and not perfect white, so it may sell for less than a pure white BEL.

I've seen them as low as 250-300± but the average is around 500+ from a well known breeder.

So would a Kingspin x BEL (ButterXMojave) pairing be best? Or is that too many BEL complexes to put together? If that makes any sense xD Still new to the genetics aspect of everything.

You should be fine. Just gonna be hard to tell if a baby bel is lesserxlesser or lesserxmojave
