    The substrate-less method is the way to go. IMO. It is pretty much idiot proof. I didn’t use any press and seal. I did put an open pan of water in the bottom of the incubator to keep the ambient humidity up to try to prevent too much evaporation. I checked on them maybe four times during incubation and candled twice. They all pipped on their own and came out of the egg with the yokes fully absorbed. All seven made it out of their eggs. And yes, there are three spiders.
