My ball python hasn't eaten since November, accordign to it former owner (I have had it since April 24) and got him checked out at a "experienced" reptile veterinarian, but I don't think she was too experienced though. That happened May 3rd, and my snake was three pounds and seven ounces.

For the past two or three days, my snake has been shedding. The pink belly, and blue eyes, and when I checked on him today, my snake was so bright! It had its shed in the hide (I'm sorry, I'm also looking to get it professionally probed, too), and he even pooped! It was in one long piece, it looks amazing.

How come he shed and pooped if he hasn't eaten anything? He pooped a few days before the beginnign of May, too.

But I am looking for an experienced reptile veterinarian to get my snake checked out around Middletown, Ohio, and if you could help me find one, that would be awesome!

Thanks!
