hiss? burp? wierd noise?

im a new BP owner- had him for about 4-5 months now- just recently he has been making a wierd noise? kind of like a nasaly sound or a pop- he opens his mouth and makes a sort of hiss or something im not sure, he never used to do it? Im thinkin its likely a Respiratory issue or something- im thinkin i need to get him into a vet or something? any ideas? he doesnt have any mucus or anything around his mouth- i havnt pried his mouth open and checked- might try that- but any insight on this would be appreciated- thx-

Popping and opening of the mouth is usually an indication of a respiratory infection. It wouldn't be a bad idea to take the snake to the vet for a professional opinion. Make sure you take hte snake to a qualified vet though.
