Yeah, saw a guy on the news during last month's snow "I'm from Chicago, and I'm used to driving in snow and thought I'd be fine driving in this snow.....(shot of car down in a gully up against a tree)....I guess I wasn't".

It's usually Northerners who are used to how the weather behaves up North that get in the most accidents in Atlanta.

We native southerners know exactly how treacherous it gets and keep our butts at home! :D

Wow, really? I hadn't heard about this! Personally I really hope it does just so as a native Coloradoan, I can watch everyone else freak out over it :D

I grew up in Kansas, the home of super hot summers with so much humidity that you almost welcome 110 degree's because the humidity actually subsides and cold, wet, icy winters. When I lived in Virginia I sat at a piggly wiggly one day and watch one car after another slid out of control into each other. In 30 minutes I was 5 collisions. lol. Rookies!

They just changed the forecast to 2-4 inches tomorrow.

Last time it showed was a Sunday fso hardly anyone was working anyway but this is a full workday and it iwll cause most of the city to shutdown.

They're already announcing school closings.

Snow tomorrow and another storm with an Alberta clipper with more snow Sunday into Monday.

I'm so glad I took tomorrow off - I'm so looking forward to just being lazy tomorrow! Otherwise, I would have been driving home in it with all the other idiots.

I don't like snow but my snakes do so it's all that matter ;) :D

Wasn't really convinced this a.m. that it was really going to snow - settled in around 2 to start watching Season 3 of Dexter, and before the first episode was over, it was coming down nice and hard! Diamond and I have been out to play in it a few times already, we probably have 3 inches right now, and it's supposed to snow well into the night.

I was SUPPOSED to go pick up a Canine Assistant http://www.canineassistants.org for a home visit tomorrow, I may have to put that off another week and try again next weekend instead, since they're saying not much will melt tomorrow and the roads are getting icy.

Supposed to get more snow on Sunday! I'm set - got up this morning and paid all my bills, mailed off my money for my albino male this morning - SQUEEEEEE! ran to the bank, went to the library and got some more books to snuggle up under a blanket with, ran by Walmart to get a new pair of snuggly sweat pants and a few groceries and I'm a happy camper! And of course I have two of the Dexter Season 3 DVD's.
